@leonardo Fortunately in Debian 8 the roll-back to #sysvinit was quite intuitive using aptitude, when I tried on a test system -

@larjona Arrgh, I get old ;-) It's indeed actually Debian 8 ( #jessy) where I have uninstalled #systemd and re-installed #sysvinit :-) @nawi -

@pztrn At least with Debian 7 you can still uninstall #systemd and choose #sysvinit as a startup method -

@nawi some time ago I read Debian were to support sysv init, too, so you could install #sysvinit instead of #systemd. I hope that's true.
